Benny is a young 11 lb. Chihuahua male, born in December , who is currently living with his foster family along with 2 other furry companions.
He was very shy when he first arrived, not knowing what to expect in his new surroundings. Benny is adjusting to being with a great foster family and doing well.
His foster mom tells us that Benny is a big cuddler especially with women. He actually prefers the company of the ladies. As most chihauhuas, Benny is very loyal to one person.
He?s doing very well and getting more comfortable around people but you have to let him go to them otherwise he still has his moments of being afraid. Benny is doing great on a leash and loves his walks, he is also great off leash! And listens when you call him. He is crate trained and will now go in it when he?s told. Benny has warmed up to the foster family?s dogs and really likes their golden retriever. He is such a happy boy and loves to play, and would also love for someone to cuddle him all day! Benny is doing much better with his house training.
He needs a family who will give him a stable home with plenty of love and patience because he will stick like glue to his own ?person?! Benny would love to be the only ?kid? in the house, true to chihauhua style.
We would not recommend Benny with small children as he can be fearful.
Benny is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations including rabies.
